The Bills of Unwanted Birds

Imagine owning a restaurant, or any other business at that, and one of your customers happens to become quite ill from a disease caused by the birds perched outside of the building. It is a great possibility that the legal system will place the fault on you, as it is the building owner’s responsibility to rid their properties of any potentially disease carrying pests or birds. Bird droppings not only ruin the look of your business, but they can also be harmful to the people entering, enjoying or leaving your facility. Bird droppings are costly to clean up. Outside eating areas need to constantly be thoroughly cleaned to keep gulls and pigeons from contaminating tables, chairs and even plates that are yet to be picked up. Warehouses with open doors can become a dirty and dangerous place to be. It is important to protect your property and the people you do business with from birds and their droppings.

There have been more than a handful of occurrences where warehouses, restaurants, and other businesses get taken to court and sued for as high as 1.5 million dollars because of the damages that birds caused at their facilities. Some of the damages birds can cause to one’s customers or employees can even be fatal. Humans can contract one of the many diseases that birds and their droppings are known to carry such as E.Coli and Salmonellosis.

Besides the worry of health related issues, there are other potential threats of financial damage from birds. A variety of other birds, such as blue jays and woodpeckers, can even damage the paint on our home and business or even the structure of the building. Repairing a damaged home because of some pesky birds isn’t worth the fortune you’ll have to pay for it.

There are many people who are going to great lengths, some even inhumane, to keep birds away. There are devices to get rid of unwanted birds from your home or business without harm. Ultrasonic devices are one method that works without harming the uninvited birds, but will still keep them away. Don’t chance going into debt over a flock of birds, and keep them away from areas where they could pose a great threat to other’s health and even your finance.
